Most of what you just said goes along with what I've said before (although, not here), and that's that many many Americans base their purchase decisions chiefly on price. You extend that to the corporate world which I'd have to agree with. It gets to the point (where we are now) that there isn't much choice. Entire industries have gone to China or other places. It's just about impossible to find brake parts made any place but China. I looked long and hard before I could find some rotors for my truck that weren't Chinese, and the ones I ended up purchasing were from Mexico. Radiators are mostly from China now, too. I did find a US made radiator, but couldn't get one shipped to me undamaged..... tried twice.
